What we collect, what we do with it, and what we never do.
Two Hour Site is a one-person business. “We” on this page means Two Hour Site.
What you give us
- The contact form: your name, what your business does, your phone number, your email, whatever you write, and whether you ticked the texting box and when.
- Calls and texts to (732) 592-6176: your number and what was said. A call may be answered by an automated assistant and may be recorded, so we can come back to you with the details right.
What the site notices by itself
Each visit is counted: which page, roughly where you are (town and state), whether you are on a phone or a computer, which site sent you here, and whether you tapped call or text.
We do not keep your IP address. The count uses a one-way code made from it that changes every day, so that one person looking twice is not counted as two.
There are no advertising or tracking cookies. If you start the contact form and leave, your own browser keeps what you typed until you send it — that stays on your device.
The lettering is loaded from Google Fonts, so Google’s servers see that your browser asked for it.
What we use it for
To reply to you, and to do the work: build your website, send you your agreement and your invoice, and tell you when something about your site changes. Nothing else.
Text messages
If you tick the box on the contact form, or you text or call us first, we text you about your enquiry and your website: replies, the link to your agreement, your invoice, and notices about your own site. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or HELP for help. The rest is in the Terms.
Who else handles it
The companies that run our plumbing: web hosting, our phone and text carrier, email, the database behind our desk, and the automated tools that help us answer. They handle your information only to provide that service to us.
We do not sell your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
For as long as we need it to do the work and to keep our books.
Ask us
Want to know what we hold about you, or want us to stop contacting you? Any of these reaches the same person.
